SNS financed international workshop "The scale of natural disturbances from tree to stand" 28.-30. September, 2005, Palanga, Lithuania, which was organized by Lithuanian Forest Research Institute and Estonian Agricultural University.

SNS supported the international conference "Natural Disturbances and Ecosystem-Based Forest Management" 27.-28. May 2004, Tartu, Estonia, which was organized jointly with IUFRO.

2003

SNS granted a financing for second meeting of the network. Second workshop was organized in Iceland, 11.-15. October 2003.

2002

First meeting of the network took place in Hiiumaa (Estonia) 01.-04. August, 2002. Workshop topic: Natural disturbances in forest management.
